Have you ever request to switch flowers at the florist?

When I visit a flower, the majority of the time she looks nothing like her photos (C-Orgs and K-Bookers). I rely on reviews from site like SA to make sure I will see a flower that will provide the service I want.

I know that most florist has 2-3 flowers at the location. Has anyone ever made an appoint with a flower they didn't find attractive and then change to a different flower at the location? I wish I could walk into the florist and see all the flowers, and then pick one. That would be amazing!!

Any input or insight would be great!!

mandotiger I have requested a change one time. It was at the SA Carlsbad hotel location. Wasn’t impressed with the first offering, texted TT and was directed to another hotel room.

I too would like to have a “line up” at the house locations, but luckily haven’t had the need to request a change at the SGV locations lately.

I feel it is more of a luck based thing rather than principle. For example, in my last review I spoke of how I was late. Booker pushed my appointment back by 30 minutes, but realistically this was only possible due to no other schedule collisions.

The orgs just want to keep heat off of everyone and get paid at the end of the day. So I'm sure you could switch if you booked at an unpopular time. Might require having an awkward conversation with the booker/house attendant though.

I agree though, I'd love for your idea of having a lineup. Kind of like a soapland. Even if it was just a table with printed real photos. I hope at least one org reads this.

Just because of the unknown factor, I usually make the 1st session HHR. I've had a few sessions where I seriously thought I got the wrong flower. The flower was no where close to the description. Age seems to be the biggest. I am fine if they say the flower is 23.. and they are really like Late 20 / early 30. Some flowers age very well. But you cannot say the flower is 25, and end up being an auntie in their late 40's.

There are a few florist I have good relationship with. When I am in the area, I message them for an appointment. They know my preference and book me with a flower they know I will enjoy. The challenge is that they are not close 🙁 Still trying to find a solid local florist.

mandotiger I agree, HHR almost feels mandatory to feel out the flower/location. It's a shame because after driving 30-50 minutes I'd like to just go for an HR. K orgs seem closer overall, but they have the most deceptive pictures in my experience. With both K and C orgs, the issue lies in the fact that even the bookers don't know much about the flowers at times.

SoCalE123 It is awesome that TT was able to help you out. How did you tell the flower you were not interested? I know it's nothing against the flower, but just your personal preference.

mandotiger When g-ma opened the hotel room, I simply said “no thanks”, turned around and walked away 😆. That night was when I decided not to experiment with SA hotel flowers anymore.

It would be nice to have a “lineup” to choose your flower, but luckily the SGV providers have been excellent goin in sight unseen so far.

Jnemodoe21 I had both great and terrible HHR session. The funny part is that I don't think I've never seen the same flower again. Any flower that I want to see again never show up or move on to different states. The ones I do not enjoy tend to still be around. Just like you, the k-org hot spots (Irvine and KTown) are all 30min to 60 min away.

Based on the reviews in SA, there seem to be a few solid florist in the SGV. I want to go, but their rates are higher then kgirls.

Lately, I've actually been more active on HX, where the pictures are of the actual flowers (some maybe old photos or slightly PS). Pretty fun to expand my enjoyment beyond Chinese and Korean flowers 🙂

mandotiger At this rate I might just have to take a trip to Thailand to finally get some bang for my buck lol.

And wow SoCal, that sounds awful. Easy to beat the temptation of low price when that is what you think of.

Just like you, I've learned my lessons with hotels for C-orgs. They tend to be much older, but at the same time its a lot cheaper. Well.. you do get what you pay for.

If you don't like a flower just be respectful and let them know you're not interested. I had this happen a couple of times when there were more San Gabriel locations. Either TT would offer someone else at another location or I would cut my loss and leave.

vegaslookout WOW!! Sorry to hear it happen a couple of times to you. Great to hear that TT was able to help you out. As for just leaving, I would be worried about doing that and getting blacklisted by the booker. I assume blacklisting would not be an issue if you already had a solid track record with the booker. Either way, thank you for sharing your experience.

Yes I have done it multiple times. I usually speak to the housekeeper and just ask what else is available. Typically they will take me to the different rooms if they aren't busy to see. You are the client and it's your money so don't be shy about asking for what you want. You can just leave if you don't like any of the flowers on display. However, it would be nice if they did a lineup like in Asia to see what is available.

heino Hmm.. That is a great point. The housekeepers I met seem nice. I may have to try that next time.

This is definitely a question I've had myself as well. The mostly frequent AMPs, and I assumed that, because they're trying to deal with scheduling, you kinda just have to TOFTT sometimes, but one time it was just not a flower I had any interest in, and I asked if any others were available. Unfortunately, they told me no (although I did see others on the way out).

GeneSugar AMPs is a big dice roll. If you are really into AMPs, there is a site that has reviews of the various locations and the flowers. There are no pictures of the flowers, but they do provide general description and review their services. The challenge is that all the AMP flowers seem to be named either Lilly or Coco. If you know the flower you want to see, you can typically call the location and ask if they are working.

I have at the bbfs hotels. I went to see Emma and was greeted by some 50 year old w bad teeth. I just said no thanks and walked out. I texted to see who else was there and saw the other flower. She was not who I was looking for but she was not bad so I stayed. You just got think with the right head and be decisive. At the of the day it’s your money.
